Dopo un’estate all’insegna di grandi successi, That’s Amore Capri non si ferma e si prepara ad un ottobre ricco di interessanti iniziative.
Il via alle danze era stato dato ad aprile con le cene al ristorante Da Tonino, per festeggiare i suoi 30 anni di attività; poi, a maggio, è arrivata la presentazione della guida per bambini “Eduino alla scoperta dell’isola fantastica”, nato da un’idea di Francesco De Angelis della Capannina e distribuita gratuitamente ai ragazzi della scuola media di Capri e ai bambini ricoverati nelle sedi della Fondazione Soleterre. Siamo poi giunti al main event della rassegna, con la direzione artistica di Stash dei The Kolors e di Valerio Pagano, che si è svolto alla Certosa di Capri, sul cui palco sono stati protagonisti Mr Rain, Rudy Zerby, Francesco Cicchella e Vincenzo De Lucia.
Il mix fra grandi artisti e organizzazione impeccabile ha assicurato il tutto esaurito dell’evento.
Una manifestazione, That’s Amore Capri, che acquisisce ormai sempre più un respiro nazionale, grazie agli importanti media partner Forbes e L’Espresso, e alla radio ufficiale della rassegna, Radio Subasio.
Tutto ciò è motivo di grande orgoglio da parte dell’associazione, fiera dei risultati che si stanno raggiungendo.
La vicinanza con la Fondazione Soleterre è sempre forte; a maggior ragione, ora che la onlus è impegnata in Marocco, per affrontare l’emergenza del terremoto.
Emergenza che va ad aggiungersi alla già delicata situazione presente nelle proprie case di cura, situate proprio nelle zone che sono state colpite maggiormente dal disastro naturale. Quindi, il supporto dell’associazione That’s Amore Capri sarà ancora più attento e diretto, per favorire il loro operato.
Anche l’ultimo evento dell’estate caprese, la charity dinner all’Hotel La Palma, in collaborazione con lo chef Gennaro Esposito, con Dadà come superospite, ha regalato la grande soddisfazione del tutto esaurito; un risultato non facile da ottenere, ancor più nel contesto di un’isola come Capri, segno che proporre eventi di qualità stimoli il pubblico ad una inedita e sentita partecipazione.
Ma gli ottimi traguardi raggiunti fino ad ora non segnano certo il termine dell’attività di That’s Amore Capri; anzi, si prosegue per arrivare ad uno degli obiettivi più importanti della rassegna: quello di prolungare la stagione estiva, arrivando ad ottobre, in quella che è una netta controtendenza con l’usuale cartellone di eventi dell’isola.
Ci aspettano, quindi, ad ottobre, una serie di iniziative che promuovono Capri e rappresentano anche un’opportunità per i suoi abitanti: due eventi con Renato Esposito; il primo il 19 ottobre e sarà una passeggiata teatralizzata con i ragazzi delle scuole, durante la quale si approfondirà la storia di Via Krupp; il secondo, sabato 21 ottobre, sarà un evento itinerante via mare.
Il 23 ottobre sarà la volta della tanto attesa charity dinner di That’s Amore Capri al ristorante Da Paolino, la cena di fine estate nella quale avremo di nuovo il piacere di assaggiare i piatti dello chef Gennaro Esposito, accompagnati dalle melodie di Erminio Sinni, e con un superospite d’eccezione come Biagio Izzo.
La rassegna si concluderà a fine ottobre, per la precisione il 28, al ristorante Da Tonino, dove lo chef Salvatore Aprea ha invitato gli chef Oliver Glowig e Roberto Di Pinto, per un evento in collaborazione con Riso Buono, che chiuderà il cartellone 2023 della kermesse.
After a summer of great accomplishments, That’s Amore Capri does not stop and prepares for an October full of interesting initiatives.
The beginning has been in April with several dinners at the restaurant Da Tonino, to celebrate its 30 years of activity; then, in May, there has been the presentation of the children’s book “Eduino alla scoperta dell’Isola fantastica”, was born from an idea of Francesco De Angelis of the Capannina and distributed to the children of the secondary school of Capri and to the children cured by the Soleterre Foundation. We have then arrived at the main event of the exhibition, with the artistic direction of Stash of The Kolors and Valerio Pagano, which took place at the Certosa di Capri, on whose stage Mr Rain, Rudy Zerby, Francesco Cicchella and Vincenzo De Lucia were the protagonists.
The mix of great artists and impeccable organization ensured the event a big sold out.
An event, That’s Amore Capri, which has become increasingly national, thanks to the important media partners Forbes and L’Espresso, and the official radio of the festival, Radio Subasio.
All this is a source of great pride for the association, proud of the results that are being achieved.
The proximity to the Soleterre Foundation is always strong; especially now that the non-profit organization is engaged in Morocco, to address the emergency of the earthquake.
This emergency was in addition to the already delicate situation in their nursing homes, located precisely in the areas that have been most affected by the natural disaster. So, the support of the association That’s Amore Capri will be even more attentive and direct, to help their work.
Even the last event of the Caprese summer, the charity dinner at the Hotel La Palma, in collaboration with chef Gennaro Esposito, with Dadà as superhost, gave the great satisfaction of the sold out; a result not easy to achieve in the context of an island like Capri, a sign that proposing quality events stimulates the public to an unprecedented and heartfelt participation.
But the excellent goals achieved so far certainly do not mark the end of the activity of That’s Amore Capri; instead, it continues in order to get to one of the most important objectives of the exhibition: to extend the summer season, till October, in what is a clear countertrend with the usual billboard of events on the island.
We expect, therefore, in October, a series of initiatives that will promote Capri but will also represent an opportunity for its inhabitants: two events with Renato Esposito; the first on October 19th and will be a theatrical walk with the students of the schools, during which will describe the history of Via Krupp; the second, Saturday, October 21st, will be a tour of the island by sea.
October 23rd will be the day of the long-awaited charity dinner of That’s Amore Capri at the restaurant Da Paolino, the late summer dinner in which we will again have the pleasure of tasting the dishes of chef Gennaro Esposito, accompanied by the melodies of Erminio Sinni, and with an exceptional superhost like Biagio Izzo.
The exhibition will end at the end of October, to be precise on the 28th, at the restaurant Da Tonino, where chef Salvatore Aprea invited chefs Oliver Glowig and Roberto Di Pinto, for an event in collaboration with Riso Buono, which will close the 2023 program of the event.
